*Position : Citrix Admin * *Location : Ft. Worth, TX * Duration: 6+ Months Interview : Phone then Face to Face Citrix Administrator Opportunity located in Fort Worth, Texas Job Description · The incumbent will provide escalation support to global teams as well as day to day Monitoring/Alerting, Break-Fix Support, Health Checks, Ticket escalations and change management across global sites. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed to ensure uptime and optimization of the environment. · The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with hands on experience supporting latest Virtualization Products. VMWare ESX, Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix XenApp, Citrix Provisioning Server and App-V. Job Responsibilities · Monitor infrastructure and assist maintaining High Availability and Operational efficiency. · Provide Break-Fix Citrix support and Ticket escalation resolution. · Apply upgrades and service packs to Citrix software and Business applications as directed by VUC management and work through any technical issues that arise in the process. · Analyze incident requests, diagnose, and determine next course of action to assist end users to drive resolutions. · Effectively troubleshoot various latency, bottlenecks, and other performance-based problems within Citrix Architecture. · Adhere to appropriate IT policies, including obtaining appropriate approvals from management. · Share critical information with peers to ensure that documentation and processes are current and accurate. · Use exemplary time-management skills; work within strict time-frames to meet or improve deadlines. · Capable of working independently or in a team collaborative environment with diverse individuals. · Process restricted data with sensitivity to ensure that confidential data remains private. · Maintain a flexible working style; assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. · Use excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels. · Well versed in supporting Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix PVS, Citrix Web Interface, Citrix StoreFront, Citrix Director, and Citrix PVS. Job Requirement · Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator (CCAA), Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE) or Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) certification preferred. · Minimum of 3 years supporting Citrix XenApp 5.X, XenApp 6.X, XenApp 6.5 FR1, FR2, FR3, XenDesktop 5.X to 7.X, Provisioning Server 6.X, Store Front 2.X, Web Interface 5.X, License Server 11.X, APPDNA 6.X to 7X, WYSE Thin Clients. · Hands on experience administration and support in: o Microsoft Server 2003/R2, 2008/R2, 2012 OS o VMWare technologies o Monitoring solutions o Active Directory / Group Policy · Experience working in VMware technology and environments. · Experience with Performance / Alerting Infrastructure tools: Computer Associates Nimsoft, Performance Monitor, or past experience with Infrastructure Monitoring (CPU/Memory/Disk/Network) as well as Citrix support troubleshooting tools. · Experience supporting High-Availability relative to servers, networking, and remote management capabilities. · Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a wide range of individuals including technical and non-technical staff, and IT leadership. · Ability to work individually or collaboratively as part of a high-performance work team. · Analytical/problem solving ability, critical decision making, intuitive, un-yielding focus as workload rises focus increases, multi-task becomes second nature . · Calming the storm by focusing everyone on a common goal required, mediator on calls.
