What You Do: • Develop efficient and maintainable software that meets business user requirements. • Transform written technical specifications into code. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. • Provide on-call support for production systems. • Ensure that test plans are developed and executed in validation of system requirements. • Code and test on large scale Oracle back-end database applications. What's Required: • Bachelor's degree • 7+ years experience in Oracle Database development • VERY STRONG UNIX O/S EXPERIENCE • UNIX shell scripting using ksh, awk and etc. RHEL is preferred • Oracle SQL, PL/SQL (triggers, procedures, functions and packages) and SQL Loader • In depth Knowledge of PL/SQL for Oracle 11g preferred • Troubleshoot and resolve data, system issues and performance issues • Strong analytical and technical skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills a must • Must be a self-starter and willing to take initiative • Experience in Web Services using SOAP, XML, Restful Services Additional skills desired: • Oracle XML DB knowledge preferred • Prior ATG implementation experience is a plus • Prior Java knowledge is a plus, Java technologies: Java EE/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JAXB, JAX-RS, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, JMS, JSON, JUNIT preferred • Experience in Web Services using SOAP, XML, JSON, Restful Services preferred.
