To provide National expertise and focus in implementing new systems,
processes, and/or operating methods for all DC's and cross docks. Serve as
subject matter expert in assisting Regional, Corporate and IT staffs to
develop new solutions and methodologies. Support the regional rollout of
all national initiatives - e.g. Wholesale Liability Project. Work with
Regional managers on development of new PMO projects. Act as a change agent
to instill a culture of continuous process improvement throughout the
supply chain organization. Manage a staff of five field support personnel.
Accountability for field training budget.
*Education & Experience*
Minimum Requirements typically required for someone to be performing fully
(competent) in this job:
Level of Formal Education: *Bachelor’s degree*
Area of Study: Supply Chain / Operations
Years of Experience: *Seven to Ten years experience* and/or training
Type of Experience: Retail / Supply Chain Operations
Special Certifications or Technical Skills:
Information Systems: *WMS, IMS, AOPS, COS*
Technical Competencies: *Office Depot System*
Skills and Ability: Project mgmt., strategic influencing skills, excellent
oral / written communication skills, leadership, interpersonal, cognitive,
occupational skills
Language Skills: *English*
