The wireless Network Administrator will be responsible for working on both indoor and outdoor wireless networks, including 802.16 (Wimax) to support daily government operations, public safety and public broadband access. *Required experience/skills/knowledge (software/ hardware/ project, etc)* WLAN and 802.11 a/b/g/i/n/ac expertise; 2-3 years of experience deploying, configuring and administering wireless LAN products & technologies including: business or enterprise grade wireless technologies. Must be able to conduct and document proper site planning and verification (including pre- and post- installation surveys). Knowledge and skills pertaining to switches, routers, network tools, cabling, grounding and equipment mounting. Preferred but not required experience/ skills/ knowledge Preferred experience and or knowledge of: Cisco Wireless Technologies - CAPWAP, WLCs (5508 & 8510), WiSMs, MSE/CMX; Ubiquiti network products including Airmax, Airfiber, Nanobeam, Rocketdish and Powerbeam; monitoring tools such as Cisco PRIME, Tropos Control, Alpha, AirControl-Ubiquiti and Alvari Star.
