*Job Title: Progress Developer* *Location: SFO - CA* *Duration: 12+ Months* *Job Description:* We are looking for a Progress (OpenEdge ABL) Engineer with one or more of the following skills: Progress, Progress 4GL, OpenEdge Advanced Business Language, or OpenEdge ABL! *Responsibility:* This Progress Developer will be responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting medical software installed across the country for hundreds of clients. *Mandatory Skills:* · One or more of the following: Progress, Progress 4GL, OpenEdge Advanced Business Language, or OpenEdge ABL *Qualifications:* · Five to ten years of complex programming experience with PROGRESS in a windows server based environment · One to three years of experience and/or training with SQL and Relational Database Management Systems. · Prefer versions 10.x or 11.x · Ability to demonstrate mastery and understanding of business and business needs and perform full life cycle software development · Ability to be a resource for resolving programming problems, complex technical issues, and multifaceted analytic issues. · Ability to demonstrate proficiency in company database systems. · Experience in software development life-cycle including excellent testing skills. · Experience with PC and Microsoft Windows applications, especially WORD, EXCEL and OUTLOOK. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
