Develop next generation HIE (Health Information Exchange) using integration tools such as Mirth Connect and customer facing technology solutions using Service Oriented architecture. Interpret Business Requirements and Functional Specifications in the delivery of software solutions meeting or exceeding client expectations. *The primary purpose of the job is to:* The Application Technical Developer will lead the technical implementations of HIE (Health Information Exchange) using Mirth tool and support customer facing applications. *Lead Software Design and Development:* 1. Function as a solution lead for business initiatives. 2. Lead the design and implementation of real time solution for HIE (Health Information Exchange) using HL7 based interfaces. 3. Lead the design and implementation of HIE cross-platform solution. 4. Design and implement service oriented architecture framework using standard set of services 5. Lead the design and implementation Health Information Exchange data integration. 6. Work collaboratively with architecture team to ensure that the proposed solution is aligned with enterprise architecture direction. 7. Develop in agile development methodology including user stories, continuous integration and test driven development. 8. Lead, evaluate and provide technical and architectural guidance to team members. 9. Lead solution architecture for application enhancements. 10. Carries out systematic problem identification, analysis, and resolution. 11. Analyzes and reduces complex problems into simple, manageable components. 12. Translate Business Requirements and/or Functional Specifications into technical solutions. 13. Develops technical design specifications. 14. Participate in and/or lead code reviews. 15. Lead technical meetings and provides technical directions to Programmer Analysts. *Qualifications / Requirements:* 1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. 2. 2+ years of experience leading technical development teams. 3. 3+ years of leading technology solution for customer facing applications. 4. 3+ years of experience in designing and architecting HIE (Health Information Exchange), and customer facing applications and standard data exchange including HL7. 5. 3+ years’ experience in managing customer facing web solutions. 6. Clinical or Healthcare applications. 7. Experience in Mirth application suite is a definite plus. 8. Experience in Agile development methodology including product backlog, sprint backlog, user stories, continuous integration, and test driven development and in agile tools. 9. Solid design and architecture experience in Mirth, .Net, Java, WebSphere, Oracle, SQL, Sybase – Tuning and optimization. 10. Modular code development. 11. Hands-on experience in writing web services and SQL store procedure calls. 12. Experience in Healthcare Payer /Provider. 13. Experience in Agile development methodology is preferred. 14. Complete SDLC experience required. 15. Technical expertise in HL7, web services, SOA architecture, Java, UML object Modeling, SOAP, EJB, XML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.Net, Oracle, Sybase, SQL, TFS Microsoft, MVC framework, Visual Studio, C#, JUnit, AJAX and Team Foundation Server. 16. Expertise in telephony products including Avaya. 17. .Net experience and ready to develop code. 18.
