Position:  Peoplesoft Project Manager - Application Development

Location: Annapolis, MD

Length:   6-months



Overview:

This role would be assisting with the Peoplesoft Enterprise Financial
Systems implementation, and operation and maintenance efforts, as well as
the continued development of internal PMO processes. We are looking
for a *Peoplesoft
Applications Project Manager* that has experience with management of
projects related to app development, testing and deployment.



Requirements:



1.       Must have 7-10+ years of Project Management experience in all
aspects of applications development w/ inclusive of industry best
practices, industry trends such as :

o   *Must have Professional experience managing agile projects &Peoplesoft
Financials 9x / higher software implementation*

2.       Must have previous experience executing project plan: Execute the
tasks as defined in the project plan in order to achieve the project goals.

o   Manage changes to project scope: Manage changes to the project scope,
project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification
techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, reflective
of authorized project changes as defined in the change management plan, and
facilitate customer acceptance.

o   Monitor and control project work: Measure project performance using
appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the
project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required
corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.

o   Communicate project plan: Ensure a common understanding by setting
expectations in accordance with the Project Plan, in order to align the
stakeholders and team members.

3.       Establish project deliverables: Record detailed customer
requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders in order to
establish the project deliverables, using requirement-gathering techniques
(e.g., planning sessions, brainstorming, focus groups) and the project
charter.

o   Conduct kick-off meeting: Conduct a kick-off meeting with all key
stakeholders in order to announce the start of the project and review the
overall project plan and gain consensus.

o   Implement approved actions: Implement the approved actions and
workarounds required to mitigate project risk events in order to minimize
the impact of the risks on the project.

o   Develop project team: Improve team performance by building team
cohesiveness, leading, mentoring, training, and motivating in order to
facilitate cooperation, ensure project efficiency, and boost morale.

4.       Excellent team building, people and management skills.

5.       Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail\

6.       Must be self-starter, proactive and willing to learn and grow with
the business.

7.       Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
simultaneously.

8.       Must demonstrate a hands-on approach, attention to detail and
results orientation.
