*Position :: Project manager* *Duration:: 12+ months * *Location :: Quincy, MA* *Interview: Phone then Face to Face* This client is a woman’s clothing retailer. Experience with a retail company is huge plus. *Responsibilities* - Create and manage project and resource plans. Negotiate with multiple department managers for appropriate staffing to support the project. Delegate appropriate tasks and responsibilities to other project participants. - Work with cross enterprise business units to accomplish work, forging the necessary relationships to be effective. Facilitate open and honest communication among team members and work with the IS teams to deliver on the project goals and to meet success metrics. - Effectively manage multiple vendor partners, particularly solution integrators, throughout the project lifecycle. - Own and execute project communications including kick-off, regular project status updates and meetings, and changes to project scope, timelines, and budgets. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders. - Identify and manage project dependencies, deliverables, and critical path. - Identify and escalate risks and issues appropriately. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and develop contingency plans. - Conduct project post mortems.
