*Position : Informatica Developer* *Location: Austin, TX* *Duration: 6+ months * *Interview: Phone then Skype* *Only EAD, GC or Citizens* *Multiple Positions* *Candidates must have Informatica 9.0 and Power Center development, maintenance and enhancement work, strong Data Warehousing and ETL as well as strong Oracle 11G and PL/SQL experience* *Job Description:* · Experience with ETL · Informatica 9.0 with Power Center experience. · Expertise in Oracle enterprise warehouse databases with Oracle 11G PL/SQL. · Strong working knowledge of Informatica version 9.0 with PowerCenter experience in development, maintenance, and enhancement of mappings, workflows, and processes. · Knowledge in performance tuning, load optimization for Informatica batch processes and enforcing best practices. · Ability to analyze and retrieve metadata from Informatica repository and working experience in CDC will be a plus. · Programming experience in SQL and PL/SQL, as well as working knowledge in performance tuning and SQL optimization. · Knowledge of UNIX scripting. · Knowledge of slowly changing (Type 2) dimensions and understanding in data sources and data modeling concepts. · Strong communication skill to work with client, business users, and team members. · Ability to work independently. *RESPONSIBILITIES: * · Migrate data from a legacy system to a Cognos reporting application. · Design, build, test activities in Informatica.
