Location: Basking Ridge, NJ - onsite Duration: 12 months plus Rate: $65/hr on c2c Client: major healthcare company Job Description: The selected individual will be part of a team (B2B Infrastructure) consisting of 3 onshore developers and 2 offshore developers. They will be working on a large project to migrate the B2B application infrastructure from Websphere Application Server 7.0 to JBOSS EAP 6.4, AIX 6.1 to Linux 7.x, in our cloud architecture. The position will be working with an IT Infrastructure team to configure and test the new environments, ready and test deployment scripts, trouble shoot issues with the new configuration and any application code, and support ongoing release projects while we are also involved in the migration. Position requires 3+ years JAVA/J2EE web development experience, UNIX shell scripting, Relational database (ideally DB2/UDB), JBOSS (especially configuration and management from the application perspective). Websphere experience would be considered a plus, and experience migrating from WAS to JBOSS would be considered an even bigger plus. Worksite is at Basking Ridge NJ facility.
