Sr Business Analyst – Oracle Knowledge Management
This person will be responsible for managing and leading the continued
development of the Oracle Knowledge Management Database including
information gathering and documentation, content governance, management and
usability. The Business Analyst will assure the accuracy and timeliness of
deployed knowledge, improving organizational performance by improving
information sharing and collaboration. This person will assess the
usability and effectiveness of deployed knowledge as part of an overall
program to support staff performance. The Business Analyst is responsible
for content placement and content quality utilizing innovative methods of
knowledge delivery; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
In addition this person will also work closely with the technical team (IT
Vendors) to maintain site standards with regard to new development.
The Business Analyst ’s responsibilities include staying current on any new
projects/initiatives that may require knowledge solutions, or may impact
current knowledge articles and coordinates all activities related to
collecting information that needs to be added to the KM system to meet the
needs of call center staff service staff. This role will work across
departments and team members throughout the organization to ensure that the
latest and newest data is available in an easy to use format.
Qualifications
• A minimum of
*five (5) years’ experience in a customer facing role with three (3) years’
experience managing content and production for a Knowledge Databases
required *• Experience with *Knowledge Management, workflow tools,
knowledge representation, information architecture methodologies* along
with assessing the usability and effectiveness of *deployed knowledge* is
required
• Experience in the use of *Oracle Knowledge Management (OKM)* application
is required
• Expertise in researching, developing and publishing multimedia functional
and technical communications
• Strong user-centered design and research practices
• Ability to articulate and document business requirements and design
concepts
• Experience managing software and information life-cycle
• Strong cross functional and cross organizational integration skills
• Proven project management, process management, and operations management
skills
• Global application deployment and support experience
• Clear understand on Software Development Life Cycle
• High level understanding on Application System Architecture, High
Availability and Load Balancing concepts

• HTML, HTML5, XML & Web Development
Candidate needs to have extensive knowledge of *web-based application
design and the use of API and Web-services*. Must have extensive knowledge
in *mainframe, SQL or Oracle based development* and the use of various
database management systems.
*At least 3-5 years’ experience in the following areas: COBOL, CICS, DB2
SQL/QMF, JCL/PROC, Stored Procedures, JAVA, UDB, and File Management
Systems. *
* Key Compentencies: *Must communicate effectively with customers and
co-workers to enhance customer satisfaction.
Must be a sound team player with initiative, resourcefulness and a high
level of professionalism.
Must have Project Management experience adhering to SDLC methodologies
Automotive industry system development experience preferred.
