*Must have 2 to 3 years of java development experience in Background* *Job Title:QA engineer cum Java developer* *Duration:5+ Months* *Location: Charlotte, NC* Job Description We have a need for a Senior QA Engineer (must have 2-3 years of Java development in their background) who will be responsible to implements the testing strategies and methods for Enterprise applications and data products. Responsible for analyzing and testing IT product lines that are developed for internal and external Premier customers. Works in collaboration with Application Development; the Quality Assurance team; the Project Management team; the Data Warehouse team; the Solutions Center and other IT stakeholders to ensure that the applications development projects have been tested and meet the required deliverables. Role includes planning, designing, executing and tracking the results of associated test efforts. Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor's degree (BS, BA) required. Area of study in IT, Computer science or related discipline. 5-7 years of relevant experience. Minimum of 5 years work experience in IT Applications Development to include: Web/.NET/JAVA technology; Windows/XP/UNIX platforms; QTP/Loadrunner/Quality Center; MicroStrategy/BI Verifying queries, validating input; Writing complex SQL and automation test scripts; ETL processes and testing; HP Suite of Products (QTP/Loadrunner/Quality Center); object oriented programming; Java, JSP; UNIX/Linux, and Windows XP Systems ; J2EE, Spring, Struts, JavaScript, XML, REST/SOAP/JSON, Hibernate and/orIbatis; Server side platforms: Red Hat, Apache Http Server, Tomcat and JBoss; Development tools: ANT, Subversion, Maven, Hudson, Junit/DbUnit/FlexUnit, Hypersonic, Easymock, Eclipse. 2-3 years application development in a Java environment.
