Ability to work with the developers to ensure best development methods are being utilized to access and utilize the data 4. Some knowledge in the use of modeling tools ( They use ERStudio) any tool will do. *Must have apps tuning experience*. This is not an Oracle EBS tuning, it is client’s home grown applications. Looking for Sr. DBA, 8+ years. *Sr. Application DBA (Oracle)* What you will do in this role: - Conducts Performance Tuning on specific SQL and underlying Oracle system. - Establish SQL Programming best-practices and standards based SQL components programming templates (e.g. stored procedures, triggers, data type rules and error handling) - Understand logical schemas and generate & maintain physical schema (tables, stored procedures, indexes etc.) as per the physical design specifications. - Supports development and testing teams with Oracle environment needs, code-promotions, code deployments, etc. - Ensure the quality and integrity of data are maintained as design and functional requirements change. - Develop repeatable mechanism and procedures to load data for development, testing and performance engineering activities. - Develop and document Database design/implementation impacts based on system monitoring reports. - Direct and lead developers and analysts on SQL query development and tuning. *Job Requirements:* *Required Basic Qualifications:* - The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle 11g and above. - 5+ years of database design and modeling for data warehouses and OLTP databases, includes: definition, structure, documentation, maintenance, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection. - Provide technical expertise when interfacing with teams and technologies that utilize and integrate with the databases. - Provide problem remediation and root cause analysis. - Expertise in optimize performance of databases is required. - Excellent trouble shooting and performance analysis skills are vital to this position. - Flexibility to work with various technical and business user teams to enhance enterprise application and database performance and security is required. *Thanks and Regards* *Vikas Gupta* *Sr. Technical Recruiter* *Phone: 4692098270* *[image: srimatrix-logo]* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
