*Position:* *Business Analyst with **Underwriting** experience* *Location: Walnut Creek, CA* *Duration: Long Term* *Required Experience: 9+ Years * • Need a *BA with **Mortgage Underwriting or Insurance Underwriting expertise*. All the standard BA skills (business facing, communication, domain knowledge, etc.) • Looking to re-platform an existing underwriting app for PMI ( private mortgage insurance) • We are using Kofax capture to capture docs which get ingested into IBM P8 CM (repository) and IBM Filenet BPM /BPF for workflow. Trying to build machine learning to accelerate project timeline by “extracting” rules automatically vs. having to go through a traditional requirements gathering process. There are ~ 100 underwriters and believe the number can be decreased by capturing the rules and putting them in a rules engine. An example is matching an income amount on a mortgage loan app with the amount on a paystub. Also looking to implement OCR for incoming documents to then ingest into the repository.
