*Sr Business Analyst - 2 roles* *Location: Omaha, NE* *Length: 6-12 months* *Start: 10-17* *Interview: phone / Face to Face / skype* *US Citizen, Green Card and GC EAD ONLY * Overview: • Act as the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams. • Elicit requirements using a variety of methods including interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis. • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts • Synthesize information from multiple sources into informational documents and diagrams defining business and functional requirements including definitions of process and system functionality, data validation and calculation logic, non-functional requirements, etc. • Decompose high-level information into details as well as abstract low-level information to a general understanding as needed. • Document and understand the flow of data, and how it affects technical interfaces, applications, and business processes. • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish a technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between alternatives. • Drive and challenge business units and technology areas on their assumptions. • Act as primary point of contact for the project team during development to clarify business requirements, and resolve issues Required: • Bachelor’s degree, plus 6 years relevant work experience • Experience with mapping data flows and derivations across disparate systems • Self-motivated and organized. Able to work independently • Superior analytical, problem definition and problem-solving skills • Excellent facilitation skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
