*Position : **Datawarehouse Business Analyst with Healthcare Exp. * *Location : **Montpelier, VT* *Duration : 6+ Months * *Interview : Phone / Skype * *USC,GC,EAD-GC only* Analysis and Solution Definition · Provides Data Warehouse subject matter expertise as it relates to the business area’s issues, data challenges, process, policy and general needs required to operate current and future business at Client Site. · Understands the current technology applications used at Client Site to support assigned Business Area or function. · Provides data analysis and reporting to support project requirements and analysis of data. · Understands and identifies Data Warehouse related cross functional business area impacts and coordinates across business units to ensure issues and requirements are thoroughly defined. · Ability to Identifies business area strengths and weaknesses and suggests Data Warehouse related enhancements to improve existing processes. · Documents, reviews and edits Data Warehouse related business requirements, business rules, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution. · Evaluates vendor extracts when appropriate to ensure current and future business needs are met. · Works jointly with other technical resources to create and review functional and technical design documents to meet business needs. · Coordinates peer review of documentation and design when applicable to ensure the design meets the business needs. Project Execution · Participates as an active member of a project team or work groups to provide Data Warehouse business analysis and subject matter expertise for proposed solutions. · Completes assigned Data Warehouse project tasks according to project schedules. Proactively identifies issues related to the quality, timeliness or budget of the project and communicates solutions to Business Unit Owner or Project Manager. · Accountable to the Business Unit Owner and/or Project Manager and responsible for overall quality delivery of a Data Warehouse solution that meets business needs. · Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively. · Documents and delivers Data Warehose training to other business area staff when appropriate. · Follows the Client Site project Management Methodology (PMM) and completes required templates for project documentation. Testing · Participates in the definition of test strategy including unit, acceptance, parallel and regression cycles. · Defines Data Warehouse test conditions and test cases. · Documents Data Warehouse Use Cases as applicable · Defines acceptance criteria for solution acceptance. · Defines and coordinates Data Warehouse related data requirements for testing and refresh schedules with IT Operations Staff. · Thoroughly conducts testing according to defined plan. · Identifies and documents system deficiencies and recommends solutions. · Works with the Quality Assurance Dept. to define regression test plans and schedules to ensure quality of final versions of software. · Reviews test plans and results with Quality Assurance and Audit resources when applicable to ensure quality of test outcome.
