Location: NY Duration: one year MUST have Ecommerce background Required Skills: - 3+ years experience as systems engineer working in a high volume e-commerce network and systems environment and team - this should include 24/7 operational, on-call support availability. - Extensive experience building and configuring Windows (2000/2003), as well as Web Servers (IIS) and Network Monitoring Systems; strong experience building out mission-critical virtual environments (VMWare and Virtual Server) is also required - Extensive TCP/IP design and analysis expertise, and strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, SSL, VPNs, and remote monitoring/administration of servers - Extensive knowledge of Cisco PIX Firewalls, Switches, Routers, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), Netscaler Switches, and Akamai edge caching - Solid communication and negotiation skills will 3rd party vendors, and strong collaboration skills with various IT units, both in the US and internationally Other Information: Assist our client's engineering group in multiple AD initiatives. The required candidate should have vast experience in the administration of multi-domain, multi-site environments .
