Job Description: Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations ** Additional Skills: Required: - Minimum of 4 years experience with Java Script, Oracle Reports, Oracle Database, and SQL - Minimum of 4 years software development experience that involved writing software requirements, design specifications, coding in structured programming languages (C/C++, Java, Perl, etc), and design and documentation of system test plans - At least four years of experience with Business Objects development tools - Four or more recent years experience developing Internet and/or distributed applications leveraging the following technologies: Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, XSL, JSP, JDBC, Servlets, JavaBeans, Struts, APEX - Three or more recent years experience leveraging one or more of the following database platforms: DB2 on MVS, UDB DB2, Oracle 9i. Working knowledge of SQL*Plus required - Experience completing medium to complex projects and participating as a team member on projects of moderate to complex scope - Self-reliant and willing to take on challenging projects with little supervision ** Additional: - Have worked in a Financial Institution/Investment Banking environment - Have experience in data center Infrastructure management - Have experience with APEX a good understanding of ITIL definitions ** Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for delivery of web-based reports with the same look and feel across multiple DTS products and services. The role will require: - Identification of data sources and work with other teams to gain access, and then analyze the data to ensure necessary fields are captured - Translation of complex business rules and thresholds into reporting logic - Management of multiple tasks and development efforts simultaneously.
