Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations. ** Ideal Candidate must have: ** 2 years experience with PL/SQL ** 2 years experience with Object Orientated Programming ** 2 years experience with C# on the .NET platform ** Experience working in a team environment is very important. ** Experience working in an AGILE development environment ** Big Pluses would be experience in a financial industry and any knowledge of Informatica. ** Additional Information Includes: Roles and Responsibilities: Fully competent in analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed systems, and revises computer programs, systems and related procedures to process data. Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis, and submits recommendations for solution. Prepares program specifications and diagrams, and develops coding logic flowcharts. Encodes, tests, debugs, and installs the operating programs and procedures in coordination with computer operations and user departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides technical development, support and systems administration for the Company's IT platforms in highly specialized phases of programming. Recommends specifications for the implementation of new or modified operating software programming applications and maintains existing applications using standard utilities Builds software systems for customization for internal customers. Provides technical support and consulting services on systems software and application development to users.
