*Need: System Analyst* *Location: *Atlanta, GA *Rate: $50-55* *Duration: *6+ Months, Systems Analyst Job Description: We have an immediate contract position for a Systems Analyst to help redesign and build multiple internal corporate applications and processes. These systems provide functionality for a commercial property and casualty insurance company and are intended to facilitate significant process improvement within the company. The ideal candidate will be very technical and have a programming and systems background. The candidate needs to be able to analyze requirements and work with various users to develop a functional architecture and associated documentation to be used for systems development. Skills Requirements: 5-10+ years of Systems Analysis experience Translation of business requirements and functional specifications into detailed technical requirements Must have experience writing system requirements for off-shore development Design of data flow and data transformation processes Thorough understanding of multiple system platforms and technologies Thorough understanding of system interactions and integration requirements Excellent experience and knowledge with Business Process Modeling Ability to document systems and technical specifications in a detailed and understandable manner Good understanding of various UML templates Excellent knowledge of various design patterns Database systems analysis and design Detailed Use Case development This is a nine to twelve month contract opportunity with a possibility for extension.
