In addition, this position will support the Chief Performance Officer (CPO). Basel Responsibilities Support oversight of initiative and implementation plan execution, monitoring, management, and administration Ensure adherence to quality standards, review project deliverables and ensure proper initiative and plan compliance documentation Monitor business issues, risks, and action items as they arise and facilitates solutions as needed Manage and coordinate initiative and plan reporting Coordinate/communicate with Basel Technology PMO to ensure comprehensive execution Coordinate and oversee cross-initiative projects CPO Support Responsibilities Help coordinate and administer an executive level committee. Support Performance and Strategic Planning activities as needed Involves extensive interaction with Senior Level Managers within Bank (Finance, Risk Management, the Businesses, Technology, and Audit) and external (Regulators, consultants, industry affiliations, etc.). Special Job Requirements The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business. MBA or other advanced degree is preferred. 10-15 years of banking experience is required. Expertise in Project Management is required (i.e. PMI, PMP) Strong knowledge of Basel II, risk management, or regulatory desirable. Must have advanced verbal and written communication skills as well as strong time management and prioritization skills. -------- Position 2: Basel II Business Analyst Location: Pittsburgh, PA Duration: 6 months + Basel II BA Seeking a business analyst with experience in investments and derivatives to Support the development of our Basel II PD, LGD, and EAD models. In this role, you will be responsible for determining and documenting the business, data and functional requirements to Support the development of certain Basel II PD, LGD and EAD models. Will collaborate with business, risk personnel and a model development team to determine and analyze the information needs and functional requirements and document these requirements in business requirements/ functional specification documentation. Specifically, you will: 1.Relay information to the technology team in easily understood terms for both technology and business. 2.Liaise with the business, development team and technology on an ongoing basis. 3.Evaluate data gathered from multiple servicing and other source systems reconcile differences, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to understand, and distinguish optional user requests from what is required. 4.Conduct user acceptance testing as it relates to the technology solutions. 5.Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers. 6.Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. 7.Will form part of a project team and will be expected to interact with the team on a daily basis. 8.Will report to a manager in the business line. ---------------- Position 3: Basel II Operational Risk Officer Location: Pittsburgh, PA Duration: 6 months + This position is responsible for assisting in the development of the Business Environment & Internal Control Factor (BEICF) and Scenario Analysis framework enhancements that meet Basel II AMA requirements while also driving business value.‚ Responsibilities Evaluating industry best practices for BEICF and scenario analysis and developing frameworks aligned with corporate culture and risk management philosophy Developing policy enhancements to align with the established BEICF and scenario analysis framework Developing and implementing the tools and methodology to support BEICF components (i.e., risk and control self assessments, key risk indicators, internal control assessments) and scenario analysis processes that meet Basel II AMA requirements while also ensuring alignment with business value and usability Supporting the implementation strategy for the BEICF and scenario analysis frameworks through delivery of training and leading framework pilots and rollout Ongoing interactions with regulatory agencies to facilitate examinations and reviews of Bank operating risk management and Basel II AMA frameworks.
