Position Description:
The successful candidate will work with a large team of Database
Administrators to assist in Linux Administration and Troubleshooting
Skills Requirements:
Required:
· Solid experience with Linux configuration and system administration
· Experience with Python and JavaScript
Strong background in AWS cloud and virtualization
· Strong technical knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and
standards
Knowledge of core system and security applications and protocols such as
basic TCP/IP, DNS, NTP, NFS, LDAP, SSH, Kerberos.
· Working knowledge of database query languages on Oracle, DB2,
PostgreSQL
· excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Desired:
Experience with provisioning using Ansible
Experience in planning and implementing reliable architectures and
automating infrastructure.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or
equivalent experience with 11 years of professional experience
US citizen preferred
