*QA ANALYST* *6-12 months* *ALPHARETTA, GA* *GC/USC Only* *QA Analyst -typical QA job -familiarized with data -create test stories and cases* The QA Analyst III (Senior) performs complex quality assurance activities in multiple applications or multiple components/sub-systems of a complex application. This professional fulfills quality assurance (QA) procedural requirements such as test plans, error logs, scripts, documentation, and automatic testing tools.Under limited supervision, participate on application teams to review and improve testing plans and processes, application software, issues/error logs, and technical documentation. Provide guidance to development teams in the understanding of standard QA manual and/or automated testing formats, and in developing and reviewing functional/systems, integration, and/or volume/performance testing tools, and/or version control for software. Review functional specifications and prepare a list of testing points for development team modification/approval. Perform the writing of manual test plans, the execution of written test plans, and/or the scripting of approved written test plans using QA standard formats. Review complex application system user and technical documentation for accuracy and/or additional QA testing or functionality. Review and document test results, prepare issues/error logs, present findings to the development team, and report and/or re-test corrections to issues/error log entries. Report application status in a timely fashion. Perform more complex tests, including stress testing with automated testing tools in diverse functional areas and integration tests, requiring excellent knowledge of their integration and relationships. Develop and conduct multiple applications or components/sub-systems of a complex application project, utilizing standard QA test plan formats. Review and prepare test scripts on multiple components/sub-systems of a complex application project that were prepared in standard QA test plan formats.Delegate work assignments and reviews and/or approve work produced by testers.Lead a small group of staff members in the testing of a small application, or a component or subsystem of a larger application. The Sr. QA Analyst is responsible for performing quality assurance duties throughout the project lifecycle. To be successful in this role, one must be able to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment. This role requires good communication skills with team members and business contacts as well as all levels of management.
