Duration – 6m con - to – hire Need GC,EAD, US CITIZEN Requirement:- The candidate should have minimum 6-8 years of SQL DBA experience handling following activities. Good communication skill and the ability to act as liaison with business. Good understanding of best practices for architecture and configuration of MS SQL Server. Ability to offload knowledge and task to a group of offshore DBAs. Installation, upgrades and patch management for 2000/2005/2008 SQL Server database environments. Maintain the rolling deployment of database code to various development, QA, and production environments. Manage source control of databases after they have been built by developers; handle database code migration to different environments. Design physical and logical database, build data warehouse in SQL database environment. Perform database optimization and tuning; ongoing capacity planning. Excellent knowledge of SQL Scripting is required. Managing SQL database in MS Clustered environment, Backup/recovery and Disaster recovery skill is a must. Should have Log Shipping, Analysis Services, SSIS, and Reporting Services experience.
