Should have worked in onsite offshore model with extensive client handling experience. Job Responsibilities: • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience with software testing and test automation • Must have demonstrable ability to convert use/test cases into functioning Java code • Must be able to deploy said code into test framework and collect results • Experience of testing full stack applications from web browsers, Restful API to backend services • Experience of continuous integration testing and test environment management • Experience of software development life cycles, software code management, and deployment • Knowledge of software and system integrations. Linux/Unix system administration knowledge required. • Programming: Java, Scala and Go • Scripting language: Bash, Puppet • Strong Testing Exp with Automation (candidate must have exp in Test methodology, Defect Mgt, Estimation, Test Strategy, Automation strategy, etc) • Requirement gathering for architecture of the application under test, test environment and test data • Getting signoff on critical scenario form the business team • Integrate Test Scenarios (automated) to the build and deploy process • Good working experience on continuous integration (CI) • Report creation and review with the business team • Understanding and experience testing Web services and exposure to SOA systems • Understanding of RESTful APIs and messaging protocols (XML, JSON) • Automated deployment of builds , Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment Personal Attributes • Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging work environment • Strong team player with good organization, planning and leadership skills • Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral/written communication & influencing skills • Exceptional presentation, business writing and professional standards • Good analytical, diagnostic and creative problem solving skills.
