*PAY RATE: $55/hr c2c * *DURATION: 4+ month* *INTERVIEW MODE: Phone and In-person* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* This role requires a strong level of business process and data experience, preferably with knowledge of TV Networks business processes around program scheduling, ad sales, traffic, promo production mgmt. The Senior Business Analyst in IT serves as a primary interface to the Sony Pictures Television Networks business users, with guidance from a Business Relationship Manager to assist the IT teams in understanding the business processes, workflows, and information requirements of the users. The Senior Business Analyst will primarily serve in the support of the current and future applications [Program Scheduling, Traffic, Ad Sales and Promo Production Mgmt] used by the TV Networks group. *Responsibilities include the following:* • Collect, review, analyze, manage, system and user requirements from business users • Document detailed functional & data business requirements, process flows, use cases, & information needs • Work with the IT technical leads to clarify functional requirements. • Create test scenarios and perform UAT on various applications • Serve as a liaison to other teams in planning, coordination, development and deployment of multi-team enhancement or projects • Ensures delivery of project and enhancement requirements meet the requirements defined by the business customer • Accountable for ensuring training needs are met for new or existing applications • 30% Analyze/understand business challenges; map current business processes to systems or service, determine interface requirements, and resolve any issues which may affect the business process. • 20% Develop detailed functional requirements & testing scenarios that can be used to develop internal design specifications for systems or services. • 20% Work with the technical analysts to ensure that the delivered system matches the functionality specified; Ensure business satisfaction with IT services and products; understand and communicate user expectations. • 20% Assist users in developing their user or business procedures. • 10% Help train users in the functionality developed. Strong experience gathering requirements for complex, multi-phased business application development efforts, enhancements or projects.
