*Job Responsibilities * · Accountable for 24*7 support for overall Infra/ Datacenter (Network, Telecom and VOIP) Operations. Experience in managing - Wide Area Network - Local Area Network (DHCP, DNS, IP Address Management, QOS, VLANs) - Remote Access (including VPN Services) - Wireless Local Area Network - Management Services - Network Management and Performance - WAN Accelerators and Appliances, including Riverbed Technologies SteelHead and Steelfusion - Voice Communication Network/Flex IP Tunnels - Voice Messaging - Video Conferencing - Audio Conferencing - Desk Phone - Soft Phones - Telecom billing and catalog - Contact Center Services (IVR, ACD, MACD, Contact Center, and Reporting) - Phone switch - PBX systems including non-VoIP and non-Avaya - Emergency communication system support including working with 3rd parties - Manage application release management, Infrastructure provisioning and deployment. - Hands-on experience in managing 24x7 global datacenter operations/DR Operations - Implement Operational tools like deployment, provisioning, monitoring, performance measurement tools etc. - Responsible for performance, availability and scalability of the infrastructure. - Responsible for the customer facing production environment monitoring, performance, release/deployment, security, reliability, availability, capacity, latency, and other non-functional concerns. - Lead Disaster Recovery initiative from an infrastructure perspective including documenting recovery procedures of all critical components. - Implement Automation across all domains to reduce Manual efforts. - Ensuring Team is effectively doing their defined tasks. - Handling the daily operations to ensure that the infrastructure are up & running and as a whole provides high degree of reliability and availably. - Ensure that the Domain teams available 24X7 and respond to incidents on a timely basis and take corrective actions - Ensuring Best Practice implementation across all Domains and documented. - Capacity planning and Infrastructure Release. - Provide Management Reports as per the KPI. - Ensure all critical Parameters of Server/Application/Database/Application/Storage/Backup monitored 24X7 through Enterprise Management system. Regular Audit/Review of EMS to ensure that critical alerts not get missed out - Requires a solid grasp of the trends and direction of emerging technologies and their potential application/value to the business. - Responsible for analyzing production operations and initiates corrective actions to ensure operational stability and efficient work-flow. - Monitor all software and hardware products and ensure compliance to Data Center standards and systems. - Maintain expert knowledge on all applications and its use on systems for various critical systems. - SPOC for all Priority 1 call. - Ensure client satisfaction and provide optimal level of customer services for various departments. - Maintain effective professional relationships with IT relationship managers. - Maintain expert knowledge on all business procedures associate with assets and capacity. - Be able to make effective presentations at an MIS meeting/ Operational / Steering committee level - Being able to work with cross functional teams, varied suppliers and business teams - High sensitivity to Customer issues - Ability to respond with speed, have work around solutions and be able to fix problems permanently - High compliance to agreed SoW – To meet / exceed agreed SLA/KPI targets/Uptime of Infrastructure - Delivery of Services based on ITIL V3 framework Data center domains – (Network, Telecom and VOIP) - Able to identify, track and mitigate risk Technical Risks - Ensure people within the project are trained to cater to technology developments and growth in the account - Process & Compliance, Highly process oriented – Able to Define, lay down processes in a way to enable smooth business operations.
