*Job Description:*

•           Create a data model for the specified reporting requirements
based on the SMS data file.

•           Utilize the ODI best practices to develop the process to load
the files and schedule the load for continuous operation on a daily
frequency

•           Load a daily SMS file (Approx. 30,000 records) in the designed
data model

•           Load a one-time, two static files for the master data of area
code details and status code details

•           Develop ability to reprocess a given file or a group of files
from past on demand

•           Prevent data from loading if it fails referential integrity
checks and allow for manually restarting the “reprocessing” after the error
is fixed

•           Develop processes to store the raw message details data for 12
months and create aggregations as necessary to support required reports at
minutes, hours, day, month, quarter, and yearly granularity.

•           Load historical SMS data from the available raw source files
starting August 2007 to create required monthly and yearly aggregates.

•           Perform a one-time load of yearly history for years 2005 through
2007 from legacy Oracle source without using ODI.

•           Aggregates retention and purge policy depending on: yearly –
forever, monthly – 36 months, daily – 24 months, hourly and minutes – 6
months.  Availability of aggregates will depend upon the availability of the
data for the specified range.
