*Program manager* *Local only* *Mountain View ,CA* *Hourly Rate :Market* *Long Term Contract* *Start : ASAP* *Interview Mode :In-Person after Telephonic Interview* *Sr PM role. * • New program project • HM is prototyping with how it will work with other orgs across intuit • This person will need to be able to stand up this program with HM • Building relationships with billing system program owners • Seeking someone that can know enough to ask questions, not focused too heavily on this person being a technology resource • Process understanding of keeping individuals and projects on track • Team environment – reporting in to the quote to invoice leader, team is primarily 5 FTE members, culture: weekly staff meetings, 1:1s, team scored 96% in employee engagement, so high level of collaboration and strong culture, great team to work with • Adding fire power to an issue we need to get resolved, health of the system and taking right actions • This is an exciting opportunity as this person will get exposure across the entire organization (EBS, SBG, Financial Opps), building deep relations with these teams, the team is very high performing teams, *• Skills:* o This is about running a program, lead through influence, hold people accountable, act as a PM across different teams o Able to handle meetings with Exec level sr leadership o Must be able to pull together the engineering speak, and deliver information so that all members can understand o Clear transparent up leveled communication skills o Experience with how back office systems work it would be very helpful (oracle or Seibel,) a level of systems familiarity would be helpful but if they don’t have the tech piece we won’t disqualify them. o Ability to set up individual meetings with primary platforms (meet with the leaders, engineers), to build a clear book back on issues and where they ladder up to, understand anything in flight that can be fixed to address underlying issues (billing health mechanism). o Need a strong ability to build/maintain relationships (examples of leading with inquiring to build understanding and trust with the teams) • Interview process: phone screen then in person w/ craft demo presentation *Staff Program Manager* *Responsibilities:* - Program Execution: Drives cross-functional execution of a program, from requirements to delivery and ensures that a program delivers on time with high quality, within budget and in accordance with stated business and technical objectives. - Planning and Tracking: Creates, optimizes, and drives structured schedules and project plans across projects and cross-functional teams. - Sets and meets deadlines with quality deliverables, effectively adapting and modifying plans based on changing data or conditions. - Assists in planning and ensuring that a project tracks to resources, timing needs, and budget constraints. - Assists in ensuring adherence to quality and other relevant standards. - Tracks open issues and effectively negotiate to impact decisions and trade-offs and to guide issues within internal and external groups to resolution. - Holds program team members accountable for their commitments, milestones, resources, and deliverables. - Risk Management and Problem Solving: Anticipates, identifies, documents, and manages key program risks, proposing appropriate mitigation and contingency plans. - Identifies cross-functional dependencies and tracks and reports on their progress. - Proposes workable solutions to problems by analyzing business trade-offs among alternatives, and uses objective judgment and influence to formulate and drive constructive debate and decision making on recommendations. - Prioritization: Balances process compliance with critical few and achievement of business objectives to consistently make the right strategic trade-offs for the program. - Assigns priorities to multiple competing and important program team activities quickly and effectively and communicates them appropriately. - Communication and Coordination: Documents and communicates status, issues, and risks in a timely manner to stakeholders and senior management. - Ensures that the appropriate documents exist and are broadly communicated to drive shared vision among the program teams. - Creates clearly understandable and actionable success criteria, objectives, and requirements and communicates them to the team. - Conducts program and cross-functional team meetings to update status, and identify and resolve issues. - Achieves quality results through team interaction and effective cross-group collaboration - Scope And Influence: Programs are multi-year efforts consisting of multiple programs, often with non-aligned schedules and deliverables. - They involve complex projects where little or no precedent may exist, requiring engagement with and accountability to business & functional group leaders - The results impact critical corporate-level objectives affecting business units and functional groups across the company. - Multi-level communication and coordination plans that provide top-down, end-to-end management and tracking of progress, issues, and dependencies for multiple teams, phases, and projects - Program schedules including complex, multi-phase, multi-program schedules, involving multiple, potentially non-aligned contributing teams. - Addresses all planning, implementation, and integration - Build budgets and cost-benefit analysis at the multi-program level - Artifacts that establish necessary operating mechanisms for cross-organization programs. - Effective and persuasive presentations appropriate for Executive-level audiences when communicating any of the above *Skills/Experience:* - Experience in program management across multiple business/functional units and/or multiple programs *Education:* -
