*Title– System Architect* * Primary Location: El Segundo, California Visa: GC & US Citizen Only* *Phone & Skype !!!* *Job Description* One of our client seeking technically savvy System Architect to support multiple ongoing and future projects in a fast paced environment. This position requires strong architecture skills, subject matter expertise in video content delivery, solid knowledge of conditional access and identity management. Awareness of the upcoming trends in the entertainment/media industry especially sports domain. *Responsibilities:* · Define architecture solutions for a complex system for delivering premium video content over-the-top (OTT) especially sports domain - delivering live video to Mobile and Connected TV platform. · Understanding of device capabilities such iOS, Android, Windows, connected-TV platform (Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Sony PS, Xbox) and underlying technology for delivering Live linear and On-demand premium video content. · Conducting architectural assessments, the breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces, and the technologies and resources to be used in the design. · Determine integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs. · Develop technical documentation on applications and systems. · Facilitate and lead in the evaluation and selection of commercial-off-the-shelf product evaluation, frameworks and open source platforms. *Qualifications* · Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Computer Science), Master's degree preferred. · 8+ years relevant experience as a Systems Engineer / Architect working in the Entertainment & Media industry. *Experience* · Experience in entertainment & media industry with delivering video using broadcast & broadband/cellular streaming mechanism. · Experience working on mobile technologies (mobile phones, tablets) for delivering premium video content. · Experience in Broadcast/broadband Television, Video-On-Demand, Pay Per View. · Experience working as an architect for delivering premium video content over-the-top (OTT). · Experience in coming up with high-level architectural design and technology roadmaps. · Understanding of latest trends and technologies including mobile based applications preferred. · Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills, with strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate without guidance. · Leadership qualities, including the ability to facilitate technical discussions with diverse and cross-functional groups and good negotiation skills. Ability to influence others with ideas and proposed architecture options. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to tailor communication to the target audience to achieve desired results.
