Position Title: SOA / Webservices Tester; Location: Arlington, VA; Employment Type: Corp to Corp Duration: 6 months Billing rate: $48-50/hr on C2C Essential function:- * Participate in efforts to analyze, specify, and design testing for components in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Develop the Performance Testing Strategy and Performance Testing Plan Develop efficient and accurate automated test scripts Execute Performance Tests using industry standard tools such as Loadrunner or similar tools Analyze results and provide recommendations for improvements. * Work with different technical teams such as Development, Operations, & Architecture to discuss performance results and troubleshoot issues Represent the Performance Testing Team in meetings with Business Owners, Tech Managers and other Stakeholder. * Working knowledge of Business Process Modeling software is a plus. Eg. BPMS Engine / Rules testing etc. Technical Skills:- Load Runner, Performance Testing, Winrunner/QTP, Quality Center/Test Director, XML, SOAP, SOA Essential Skills:- * Atleast 7 years of overall testing experience (2+ years with SOA / Webservices Testing). * Extensive hands on experience with HP Mercury's LoadRunner or similar tools Some knowledge of Test Director/Quality Center, WinRunner/QTP In-depth working knowledge of XML, JAVA and SOAP or related languages. * A high degree of skill in troubleshooting, characterizing, and describing software defects Development background would be an advantage Knowledge of SOA approach and SCRUM approach/methodologies highly desired Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn new information quickly Strong capabilities performing independently and as part of a cross-functional, team in a fast paced environment. * The ability to manage and prioritize own workload effectively Excellent communication and client-facing skills. * Qualifications: Bachelor's degree -- Thanks & Regards, Abhi a...@cigniti.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Workflow" group.
