Customer (ERS- Texas Employee Retirement System) is looking for a BI
Developer/Analyst who will enhance a newly built ETL Infrastructure.
Candidate should have extensive Performance Point experience and should be
able to build out and add to the MS Cube space. MS Business Intelligence
Developer will be playing a key role in expanding the company’s Business
Intelligence Development and database optimization. The work will be
accomplished utilizing the full suite of Microsoft Business Intelligence
tools. Work will include data integration connecting information from
various systems populating subject areas as a source to BI for analytics.
The role will require the Implementation of business rules via ETL.  Work
with data warehousing standard concepts, structures, practices, and
procedures.  Dimensional data modeling and star schema design. Design and
development of ETL processes and procedures utilizing T-SQL, SSIS.  SSAS
OLAP cube development.



Job responsibilities:

•Development and management of enterprise level MS SQL server BI
infrastructure.

•Relational data warehouse logical modeling and maintenance.

•Relational data warehouse physical modeling and implementation.

•Assist in configuration and upgrades of BI software.

•Participate in evaluating and analyzing utilities and tools offered by BI
applications/tools vendors.

•Share knowledge with co-workers and ensures appropriate knowledge transfer
to cover duties during illness, vacations, training, etc.

•Prepare technical documentation.



Candidate may be required to then maintain the application once it is rolled
out.



Previous experience with ECM (Enterprise Content Management), PeopleSoft,
SharePoint and Oracle are a huge plus as all of these are intertwined within
the new infrastructure at ERS. Mel Mireles, ERS’ IT Director, has a vision
of both internal and external systems working on  a ECM/BI/BMP Synergy that
sits on MS SharePoint.
