Apply advanced data mining skills to capture, analyze and publish data to
support monthly billing/settlement cycle
- Partner with internal groups such as Revenue Assurance and Accounting to
maximize efficiency of manual reporting/analysis tasks
- Provide support to billing/settlement system team as necessary for
production support
- Provide support to Accounting department to meet fiscal deadlines
- Identify opportunities for process improvement. Document new and existing
business processes
- 3+ years experience in a business and/or systems analyst role, preferably
supporting Accounting and Billing areas
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, building formulas) and MS Office
proficiency required
- Minimum of 2 years advanced data mining skills with large volumes of data
- SQL Tools experience (i.e. SQL Navigator, Toad)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented
- The candidate should have an interest in Accounting, IT and business
systems analysis - This role combines the three.
- Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley and experience using Cognos reporting
tools and Oracle ERP a plus
Education : College degree preferred, or relevant experience in lieu of a
degree
