Description of day to day tasks * *[The Business Analyst is expected to:* *► Transform understanding of project scope and business case into the project vision document** * *► Execute the business analysis plan including working with the identified stakeholder, conducting business analysis activities, * *supporting business analysis communication and participating in the requirements management process* *► Conduct requirements elicitation using techniques such as facilitated workshops, interviews, observation, task analysis, documentation study and surveys* *► Conduct requirements analysis ensuring that behavioral models (e.g. process maps, use cases etc.), structural models * *(e.g. business rules, data model), dynamic models (e.g. state diagrams, class diagrams) and control models (e.g. decision tables, event-response table) are used appropriately* *► Specify non-functional requirements including external interfaces (user, hardware and software), quality attributes * *(e.g. performance, reliability, maintainability etc.) and constraints (e.g. operating system, hardware, software etc.)* *► Assist in requirements prioritization, perform requirements allocation and document requirements traceability* *► Support verification, quality assurance and development activities which may include reviewing test scenarios and/or design documentation to ensure requirements compliance]* *3.
