*Duration: 3 Months* *Location: Washington, DC * ** *Keeps current on digital graphic technologies, Adobe Creative Suite, print and mail technologies and cross-platform issues.* * * *Description:* 1. Coordinates the production of ad and collateral products requested by national and state clients at all levels across the Association. Consults with Brand Management managers, editorial and design staff, and other Association production units (including Procurement, Print & Mail Services) to determine the most effective production methods for requested products. Provides cost analysis for various production methods. 2. Maintains knowledge of current brand guidelines. Executes brand solutions for national objectives. Supports state needs via template and portfolio options available on the Brand Resource Center. 3. Coordinates assignments to regular and temporary design staff in support of department’s creative services activities. Initiates requests, schedules deadlines and tracks progress of all active jobs using electronic production database. Oversees electronic file management system including archiving information, to ensure files are accurate and available for future use. 4. Develops detailed specifications for conventional and digital reproduction of print materials, displays/exhibits, signage and other items by external commercial vendors. Facilitates digital reproduction on Print Services’ equipment by providing specifications and coordinating transmission of files. Checks proofs and performs press inspections. 5. Keeps current on digital graphic technologies, Adobe Creative Suite, print and mail technologies and cross-platform issues.
