Ability to work with and understand the structure of data files in a Windows environment 2. Ability to learn data file formats, data types and content particular to the K12 educational domain 3. Ability to map data against specified formats, document problems and communicate them to designated developers and supervisors 4. Ability to master proprietary data parser 5. Experienced with SQL server and T-SQL queries 6. Intermediate skills in Word, Excel 7. Clear, concise and professional written and verbal communication skills 8. Ability to both take initiative and function well within a tightly knit team, in a changing and focused environment 9. Ability to participate in peer review process 10. Ability to provide excellent service to customers, both internal and external 11. Knowledge of Data Warehousing a plus 12. Knowledge of statistics a plus *DA Job Duties (Summary)* 1. Conduct customer intake duties regarding data file analysis and troubleshooting with the technical sales support team and the customer technical lead 2. Use proprietary parser application to load, analyze, customize and validate data 3. Document all customer specific data characteristics and business rules in specified tracking systems 4. Perform investigations into data issues and assist developers with resolution 5. Work closely with project teams to identify data requirements and solutions, including data glossaries, customer metrics and other relevant tasks 6. Provide close support to developers and QA as directed to create test data files and support testing. 7. Identify and communicate trends and exceptions during testing 8. Provide continuous updating of job processing instructions, knowledge base and proper storage and cataloging of documents relevant to the DA job and DA group 9.
