Make recommendations based on assessed risks to quality by applying various verification and validation techniques in coordination with the development team (QA Leads, project managers, development managers, change management and QA core members). Accountable for internal process and procedure improvement projects and manages initiatives supporting continual QA process improvements and their integration with other process development activities. *Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience or specialized training) in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering, or related discipline * - Contributes to test planning, test preparation and scripting, and test execution according to defined best practices, standards and procedures. - Interfaces regularly with peers and management regarding test related topics including the coordination of test related initiatives with QA leads, Project Managers, Development Managers, and other QA Core team members. - Participates in all phases of the IT Project Delivery Framework, including review of complex business and functional requirements. - Assesses risk to quality service based upon results of verification and validation. - Follow and adhere to established test standards and procedures. - Provides QA consultation services to support users of related test processes. - Participate in verification and validation activities for production modifications. - Maintains document template libraries and internal project documentation. - Organizes and/or facilitates team member training sessions. - Participates in both internal and external process improvement projects - Participates in both test planning and test execution activities - Experience working with onsite and offshore teams - Expertise with testing tools like Quality Center is a must - Experience in understanding / writing / execute medium to complex SQL queries is necessary - Experience with the Rational products a plus - Knowledge of relational databases such as MS SQL, Oracle 9i, and 10g would be preferred - Experience in data conversion, report testing is preferred - Ability to multi-task effectively - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to fine details - Candidate with CSQA, CSTE, or be qualified for certification will be a plus Thanks & Regards, Rakesh.Puvvada *Sage IT, Inc.** *Ph: 972-996-0650 X 326 Fax: 214-619-2034, rak...@sageitinc.com | www.sageitinc.com Follow our jobs on twitter!* **[image: Twitter-Iconxsm]<http://www.twitter.com/sageit> * * * * * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Workflow" group.
