Role:  Siebel Support - Functional Analyst

Location:  Bothell, WA

Duration: 6+ months (extension likely)

Rate: $ (all inclusive) for us

*Summary of Project:
*The team supports Siebel and Siebel Analytics applications.  The IT
Applications organization is performing company-wide shared services in the
area of Application Solutions for business applications for Corporate
Functions like Finance, Legal, Supply Management, Human Resources Management
and Marketing.

*Description of Assignment:
*Functional support on business applications which are based on the
mentioned technologies, conform the agreed service levels. Handle Change
Requests for those applications or be part of a project team.
Provide continuity and knowledge assurance for the Siebel application in the
company landscape.
Serve as lead functional analyst on global project teams. In this role
represent existing Siebel solution and propose solutions. Prepare design and
analysis documents. Represent solution to developer. System and regression
test components.

*Deliverables:
*Call logging
Incident and/or problem registration
Incident resolution and communication to users

*Specific Job Characteristics:
*1. Incident management; give advice and answer questions from Support end
users for all the areas of Siebel Sales applications including customized
Siebel areas in business processes, quoting (equipment & service),
eConfigurator, product, pricing, orders, change orders and CRM (Accounts,
Opportunities, Forecasts, Activities, Campaigns etc.).
2. Functional Lead Analyst on global projects.
3. Ability to work in the North American user’s time zone 6AM to 6PM (GMT-8
hours), participate in teleconferences or web based meetings.
4. Support business demand peaks e.g. month-end support of system issues or
project go-live
5. This position requires knowledge of environment settings for operating
systems including related applications like browsers, MS Office, Adobe etc.
6. Siebel user administration including new account requests and managing
assignment of responsibilities, list of values and other master data for
both production and project requirements.
7. Registration of solutions and workarounds in a case registration system
and maintain a FAQ database and other user documentation, as required
Support Siebel Remote local client, DEV, QA, and Production environments

*Knowledge and Experience:
*The Functional Analyst needs to have knowledge about or expertise in with
minimum of 3 years applicable Siebel experience:
1. Providing 1st line support to the user population via telephone as well
as through incident tickets.
2. Experience with incident and problem management and effective triage of
reported issues.
3. Service oriented focus and flexible attitude
4. Able to work independently with a diverse team spread across multiple
locations in North America and Europe.
5. Is dependable and accurate worker and has a strong sense of ownership in
tracking an incident through its resolution and communicating back to the
end users.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills over the phone and
email.
7. Able to quickly analyze incidents and either resolve, or provide
workaround
8. Ability to recognize significance of incidents that should be escalated
based on business impact.
9. Experience managing Siebel user administration

10. Familiar with browser settings, ability to troubleshoot common desktop
concerns related to Siebel usage.
