Position: C++ Application Developer/Perl Location: Herndon, VA Duration: 6 month CTH Rate: open Job description: Developer/SME performs high complexity (i.e. system level applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. Typically limited in scope and duration SERVICES 1. Possess analytical skills to be able to under-stand financial modeling and algorithms as well as business requirements. 2. Have the ability to use good applications design principles and efficient coding techniques 3. Develop code in C++ to implement business requirements, financial models and numerical algorithms 4. Integrate application using VB Script and PERL 5. Ensure developed code conforms to coding standards, perform unit testing 6. Develop tools to automate testing 7. Provide documentation of the code and testing 8. Experience with MATLAB preferred Deliverables 1. Robust, high quality code that conforms to standards in place for the project 2. Unit, regression and end to end tests for the system 3. Documentation 4. Design 5. User Interface Documentation 6. Development Test plan and summary of results Desired: Mortgage Backed Securities experience, financial experience.
