*Title: Sr. Oracle Apps. Business Analyst***

*Duration:  6 months Contract*

*Location: Burlington, MA*



*Responsibilities*:



Primary responsibilities of this position include managing the
functional operations
of Oracle Applications 11i application modules to support the Order to Cash
business processes. This includes *OM, Shipping, Inventory and Receivables*.
In addition to these main modules are Install base, Service Contracts with
light WIP and BOM.  Act as the functional area expert within Oracle
Application 11i. We are looking for a team player with outstanding
communication and customer service skills that is able to stay on task when
working independently.



*Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.*



Provide process leadership in driving and implementing solutions, Level 2
and 3 functional support for Oracle Applications 11i within the Order to Cash
modules as well as Install base and Service Contracts. Assist in the
functional implementation of Oracle modules and upgrade of current modules.
Monitor and document post-implementation problems and revision requests.

Understand what functionality is available as well as what has already been
implemented. Advise on new solutions for enterprise business applications
integration and functionality activation. Understand the impact a process
change might have on the system and be able to guide process definitions
accordingly. Consult with end-users to analyze and understand user needs,
objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements. Provide
end-user instruction and support to resolve application issues. Provide
resolution to support issues, and responsible for escalation procedures
while retaining ownership of the issues. Manage Technical Assistance
Requests (TAR) with Oracle Support.



Write user documentation for new applications or functionality. Develop
training materials and provide training to new users. Guide users in the
implementation of business processes. Provide detailed business requirements
specification for developers, process definition outlines and flows,
maintain and update application specific process documentation and end user
training documentation. Ability to provide high level application design,
architecture with cross functional / cross modular knowledge along with
ability to work on micro level details. Develop, coordinate, and implement
plans to test business and functional processes and quality assurance
testing. Lead functional acceptance testing of patches and upgrades and
train and document processes.



*Qualifications:*



·         Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems or
equivalent

·         2- 5   years of experience with Oracle Applications (11i a must,
Release 12 experience is a plus) - must state module specific experience.

·         Experience in more than one functional area/module and cross
functional experience is preferred.

·         Strong experience in *Oracle Order Management, Shipping,
Inventory, Service Contracts, Install base* is required. Knowledge on
Quoting, procurement is an added advantage. Working experience in a software
/High Tech industry is preferred.

·         Demonstrated experience performing business analysis for Oracle
Applications 11i, in the areas of implementation and
support/upgrade/development projects with very good understanding and
experience of relevant methodologies like Oracle AIM.

·         Experience with executing simple SQL queries and understanding the
underlying structure of the most common Oracle Applications tables, table
structure and schemas.

·         Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced
environment.

·         Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, provide
documentation, guidance and instruction to users, at all levels.

·         Strong Customer Focus, Relationship Management skills, Learning
Agility, communication skills, execution skills

·         Knowledge of PL/SQL, Workflow, Oracle Discoverer and Oracle Alerts
is a plus.
