*Oracle* *DBA* Skills: *Oracle* 10.2.0.3, 10.2.0.4, 11ga * * *Required Skills (three components): *The first component is environment build, deployment tasks as assigned, performing Database Service Requests (DBSR) as necessary and as assigned. The EDM organization requires resources skilled in *Oracle* on AIX to create, refresh and clone multiple systems, perform change activities in accordance with standard change processes, perform maintenance activities and monitor key systems in both standard stand-alone, and multi-node RAC and *Oracle* replicated environments. The second component is design, implementation and support of a multi-node, high availability *Oracle* system supporting the 787 business needs. This will include responding to 7x24 performance issues (nights and weekends), resolving immediate issues, then developing long term fixes or design changes to support continued performance of the system. The team also has sustaining work statement in database monitoring, automated tasks and routine service requests. The EDM organization requires *Oracle* advance features resources to support the Boeing DBAs and application development teams. The last component of this work statement is for database administration support, system integration and system performance and tuning needs. This requirement is to support the integration of common systems between Charleston NC. and Puget Sound Manufacturing systems. This may be to create an additional line of databases to support the production line in Charleston, or enhance the current environment to accommodate the programs needs. This involves complex integrations with instantiations of existing application as well as integration with other applications. The required skills for these three components include in-depth knowledge of: * Strong communication and documentation skills are mandatory. *Documentation at both the process and desktop procedures. * Superior teaming, and team building skills.
