Analyze requirements and design in support of large scale business critical *IVR application suite* implementations for call volume supporting 32.8+ million customers. - *Collect information to analyze* and evaluate existing or developed T-Mobile applications or systems, *prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes. * - Recommend and implement improvements to applications, *design call flows, write prompts and VUI specification documents, develop grammars, coach voice talents, and conduct usability tests. * - *Help determine speech recognition grammars and techniques for products and projects * - Ability to estimate level of effort and timeframe to achieve deliverables and goals and deliver on time and on estimation - Interacts regularly with Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, Application Support, Quality Assurance Testers, Operations and external vendors as necessary - *Assist in definition, design, and management of Enterprise Architecture components and low-level technical Architecture design documents.* - Utilize departmental Software Development Lifecycle Methodology as a guide for analyst activities. - Position requires occasional 24x7 and on-call availability in support of software releases and emergency break fix support *Functional and technical skill requirements:* - Minimum 5 years of analysis experience with medium to large-scale projects - *1 year of experience performing analysis and conceptual design of an IVR System on VoiceXML, DTMF Platforms that uses text-to-speech and speech recognition* - 1+ years experience with *Speech Recognition and Text-To-Speech, Voice User Interface Design preferred* - *Experience with writing and testing Speech Recognition Grammar files using grxml* - Experience with scripting using VBscript or Javascript. - Experience with defect management tools such as HP Quality Center, HP Openview, BAC - Working knowledge and basic understanding of Cisco ICM, TIBCO, SQL/Oracle, UML, SOAP/WSDL - Experience working with the SDLC and coaching others on SDLC concepts - *Experience interpreting business requirements and translating business requirements into functional requirements and design* - Excellent MS Office Skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio a big plus - Has experience with & capability to train others on various business process and system modeling tools including: *Data Flow Diagrams, Process Models, ER diagrams, Dimensional Data Models, Context Models, Event Modeling, State Modeling, Process decomposition, and Use Case Scenarios* - Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments and delegate to others as well as monitor their work for completion - Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications - Technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous deliverables - Experience in logical and physical database design and implementation - Ability to provide quality and accurate deliverables - Ability to recommend appropriate scope of requirements for small efforts - Knowledge of key data warehousing or Business Intelligence methodologies - Ability to recommend appropriate scope of requirements - Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments and delegate to other analysts - Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications *Experience* - *Experience creating Requirement, Functional Specification, & Test Requirement documents required* - Experience with supporting both purchased and in-house developed applications required - Experience in software development, software design or business process design and implementation preferred - Experience in telecommunications industry preferred - Project Management, Management, Team Lead, or other equivalent leadership experience preferred - experience with a formal SDLC preferred - experience developing business solutions with a variety of tools preferred -
