Position: SAP SD Pricing Lead Location: Houston, TX Duration: 6 months contract to hire *As a member of the SAP & BW COE, you'll be working with one of the largest and most complex SAP implementations in the world. In your role as an SAP & BW Technical Lead, you'll be charged with:* *· Engaging with business partners and other IT teams to formulate and structure technical projects. · Developing and managing the project structure and team, reporting and communication for the project. · Leading, mentoring and coaching a BW development team (about 9 people onshore + 4 to 5 offshore leads, Total capacity is about 35 people onshore/offshore. · Working closely with various PM to ensure the on-time delivery of the projects technical components, and drive the execution from design to Move to Production, aligned on a standard release management process. · Ensuring the quality of deliverables for multiple projects / multiple portfolios, specifically around scalability, reusability, performance and supportability. · Leading the design of complex infrastructure and software solutions. · Dynamically allocating resources according to project demand, complexity, and resources capability. · Assessing and managing technical risk* * This role requires strong knowledge of SAP SD or FI modules as well as SAP Business Warehouse. The ideal candidate would have 5+ years as a SAP functional analyst, and has worked extensively in BW since then. As a BW design/ tech lead, the ideal candidate would be able to engage with multiple levels within business and IT ranging from executive through analyst. This candidate would enjoy a fast paced environment which challenges him or her to "think outside the box" to deliver a solution that is technically sound quickly to meet rapidly changing business needs. He or she would be expected to work in an integrated SAP and BW environment working design solutions end-to-end, as well as assist in troubleshooting integration issues. * * Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of related experience in a lead position on SAP R3 and / or BW with a prior background as SAP SD / FI analyst.* * Knowledge and Skills Required: * *Prior experience as SAP SD or FI analyst/lead. Positive and aggressive attitude. High tolerance for fast pace, change and ambiguity. Good verbal and written communication skills; influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team.
