Development and support of LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) based web applications 2. Development and support of Java\Oracle based web applications 3. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand their needs, design solutions and build appropriate applications. 4. Execute projects in compliance with application architecture, development, and deployment standards 5. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to eliminate defects and ensure application stability and scalability *QUALIFICATIONS: ** 4+ years increasingly responsible technology experience, with prior hands-on work experience in applications development related to a company with a major web presence. * Must have direct experience in designing, building, and supporting a very large web presence including first-hand knowledge of scalability & security techniques. * Experience writing code with the following development languages: PHP, Java, SQL (Oracle and MySQL) * Implementation experience with the following technologies is a plus: Frameworks such as Struts / Spring / Hibernate and EJB, HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX, Web Services (SOAP & REST) * Experience building & operating one or more of the following types of systems: E-commerce, Billing, Payment processing, Content Management, Search Indexing Management, Content Personalization, Marketing Ad Management, Media (Image and Video) Gallery Applications, Social Networking Web Integration, Affiliate Management * Experience with any of the following development processes and tools a plus: Object-Orientated Architecture, Pattern-based Design, Test Driven Development, Source Code Management (SVN), Continuous Integration (Hudson), Agile Project Management Tools (Rally). * Must be comfortable working in a Windows and Linux environment. * Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills as well as being highly self-motivated * Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, or other technical discipline required.
