Design, develop and maintain windows, web and web services based
business software applications, systems, components and database
objects using Microsoft .NET technologies based on requirements and
specifications to support LHI's business operations.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Computer Engineering or other related field combined with a minimum of
6 years full life-cycle software development experience required.
Candidates must possess at least 4 years experience with .NET
technologies, developing .NET Windows, Web and Web Services database
applications with n-tier architecture and 2 years experience working
with applications using SQL databases. Equivalent combination of
education and/or experience will be considered.
Strong knowledge of Visual Studio and VB.NET, SQL Server and
relational database modeling concepts, .NET Framework, ADO.NET,
ASP.NET, Object Oriented programming concepts, Windows and Web forms
required.
Familiarity with Visual Studio 2005/2008, SQL Management Studio
2005/2008, Visual Source Safe, Team Foundation Server or similar
source control programs also required.

Our client is seeking a developer to assist with Broadband Mapping
application development work in Adobe Flex. The candidate should be
well versed in Adobe Flex/Flash development including Flex 4 and Flash
Builder 4. Online samples of work and code samples will be requested
for analysis prior to an offer being made. The candidate should be
skilled with using graphic and photo editing tools to produce needed
content for the application. Since the products will be mapping based
applications using the ESRI ArcGIS API for Flex, experience with using
the ArcGIS API for Flex is desirable as well as with the ArcGIS Viewer
for Flex. Candidates should be skilled with using and consuming web
services in their Flex applications. Knowledge of GIS and geographic
concepts is most desirable for the candidate to be maximally
productive in the short time available.
Specific application requirements will be provided upon hire.
