*Job Description*
· Graphical User Interface development and implementation conforming
to design and development standards.
· Participate in the requirements gathering, UI design & development
sessions to ensure that GUI requirements are appropriately captured and
scoped in the development cycle.
· Perform in-depth reviews and provide detailed feedback on the
design documentation with focus towards usability, customer impact, ensuring
the specs meets development standards.
· Create optimized code that satisfies the business requirements and
design documentation.
· Communicate development efforts to the project team before and
during construction to discover conflicts before they become an issue and
improve communication between the project team members, as well as between
the functional groups to ensure streamlined development efforts and
avoid issues resulting from communication or process road blocks. Ensure
that GUI deliverables are delivered on time and within budget.
· Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required,
preferably in business, e-Commerce or related field.
· Professional experience in Web site UI design & development.
· Expert in XHTML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript including JSON Objects,
XML.
· Good working knowledge of AJAX, JSP, JSTL, Unix.
· Experienced in developing cross-browser compatible sites.
· Knowledgeable about Content Management Systems.
