*****Interview Type: Telephonic and IN-PERSON****** *Direct Client Rek: “SAP BASIS Administrator with UNIX & Oracle” in Sacramento, CA for 8 Months* *Description: * *• Previous role as SAP technical all rounder to provide support and guidance to SAP Basis team or large contribution to several SAP Basis projects. * • 4+ years experience as an *SAP Basis Administrator* or expert. • SAP applications operating system administration (*IBM AIX and SUN Solaris *). • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills. • Strong customer focus and management of client expectations. • Excellent teamwork skills. • Can work with minimum supervision. • Demonstration of the following key leadership behaviors: Change/process improvement, problem solving, information-sharing and planning/organizing. *KNOWLEDGE OF:* Principals of systems analysis; SAP NetWeaver-related technologies such as SLD, NWDI, CE, etc.; in-depth familiarity, understanding and techniques of SAP R/3 architecture, SAP database, network, system monitoring, system performance configuration, tuning techniques and SAP toolsets; familiarity with SAP security, backup and restore processes; concepts of Unix operating system environment and Oracle database and tools; familiarity in SAP Database/Oracle, Oracle utilities for reorganization and recovering and Unix/Solaris/AIX operating system; and English grammar, punctuation and vocabulary standards. *SKILL TO:* Compile and prepare technical, statistical and/or analytical reports and presentations; analyze complex issues and develop and implement resolution alternatives; analyze procedures and systems and develop and implement operational improvements; evaluate and resolve complex technical issues and problems; express ideas/facts clearly and concisely to individual or groups; read and interpret plans, diagrams and specifications; monitor and tune the SAP database; communicate effectively orally and in writing internally/externally; establish and maintain effective working relationships internally/externally. *Education and Experience**: * *Experience: 3-5 years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in information technology with 3 years experience in end-to-end development, implementation and support of SAP R/3 systems in a UNIX environment working with current release of SAP, Oracle database and tool sets. * *Education*: BA/BS and/or MS/MA degree from an accredited college or university majoring in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
