Job Title: SAP Basis Technical Lead Location: St Joseph, MI Duration: 3 Month+ Rate: $75 ph Corp to Corp This is a strong SAP Basis administration technical position with the candidate also requiring basic background in system administration (on Unix, Wintel or MF) or basic background in storage administration. Functions: The SAP Technical Lead will work with IT Project Teams to discuss, understand, design, size and propose IT infrastructure components such as servers, storage, databases, etc as per project requirements. The lead will then be responsible to get a broad agreement of the overall design and price the environment. Once the design is finalized and approved, the Technical Lead will perform knowledge transfer to IBM - Whirlpool's implementation partner - to perform the physical install of the designed components. The Lead will oversee the installation from a technical perspective and ensure the final solution delivered by IBM complies with the required infrastructure design. Additionally, the Technical Lead will be responsible for working with IBM technical personnel to help guide through or resolve technical issues and questions during infrastructure implementation and execution. He/she will also be involved in discussions such as Enterprise Architecture to discuss any changes to overall infrastructure design and landscape as additional project needs come up or change. <goog_769598360> <goog_769598360> Skills: The successful candidate would be expected to have 8-10 years of strong experience in SAP Basis administration. The candidate needs to be technically strong and have implementation and upgrade experience in various SAP components including R/3, BW, CRM and Netweaver Java stack. Candidate should have had hands-on implementation and upgrade experience at a technical lead level with ability to envision, design and engineer landscape solutions for large SAP project implementations. Additionally, the candidate should then have experience executing the project though its complete lifecycle.
