*Please respond with Resume, Rate and Phone numbers of the consultant to: pra...@cigniti.com ASAP.* * * ** *Position: Business Objects with LogiXML experience * *Location: Lansing, MI* *Duration: 6+ months contract* * * Responsibilities: · Work closely with the business to determine report requirements and translate requirements into data results · Create data results through techniques and tools such as basic queries, data mining and multi-dimensional analysis · Develop Business Objects universes and reports based on business needs · Work closely with the business owners to establish business transformation rules · Interface with Architecture, BSA, Testing, DBA, Application Support and Technical Support staff · Make recommendations for new fields to be added to the Data Warehouse based on user requests. · Develop training materials &write users’ guides. · Train users. · Plan and execute acceptance tests. · Complete other tasks typical of a BSA Key Technical Skills: · Strong trouble-shooting and analytical skills · Experience with fact-based decision-making and root cause analysis · Ability to work multi discipline technical issues · Ability to be innovative, creative and think outside of the box when presented with roadblocks. · Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. · Ability to make competent, independent decisions · Two to three years experience querying, analyzing, or managing data required. Data warehousing / Business Intelligence experience preferred. · In depth knowledge of all aspects of Workers’ Compensation Insurance concepts preferred.
