*Role: SAP PP-PI Location: St. Louis, Mo Duration: 6 months contract * We spoke to the manager today and here are his notes in regards to the position. He will interview via phone and may or may not require a second interview. It depends on how well the candidate does via phone but for the second interview he is willing to do a SKYPE interview if needed. Manager Notes: Looking for someone with the highlighted areas on the req. This is a production and enhancement role. Preferred experience: outlining agreements and contracts. Any experience with Processing payments not someone with FI but someone who understand how the process happens through those documents. Mi-level to Senior guy but shooting for senior level. They cannot go higher on the rate. Responsibilities will include: Working in close relationship to Seed and Chemical Manufacturing and Analytical groups to understand business processes. Working with and supporting the Monsanto-Business Network and working to develop and manage enterprise solutions to problems that best reduce Monsanto's operating costs within the Supply Chain. Planning, design, configuration, testing, training of SAP PP-PI Module (Operations processes). Configuration of all of SAP PP-PI, MM functionality. Production support of current sites using SAP PP-PI. This includes seed production facilities and plant manufacturing centers. Support of these processes includes developing and maintaining interfaces to other supporting systems, and touch points with some Contracting (Outline Agreements) processes. Driving improvements and enhancements at manufacturing sites Development of Functional Design Specifications and other detailed enhancement documentation to support custom program and BI reports development. Cross-functional work with FI, MM, QM, ABAP, Security, Basis, Operations, and other teams as necessary to resolve technical and process issues Understanding and supporting integration issues that affect the PP/Operations Process. Identify opportunities for process improvements either in existing designs or by adopting new functionalities available in ECC 6.0 Search and Implement SAPs OSS system. Required Skills: (Ranking of skills preferred with number at the end of sentence) Minimum 5 years SAP configuration experience for Production Process & Operations 1 Need at least 2 full life cycle implementation experience. 2 Experience in configuring and managing the implementation of functionality including Process Orders, Order settlements, Contracts/Agreements, Material Costing, BOMs and Production Resources/Recipes. 4 Understanding of material configuration structure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Results oriented Good understanding of Integration points of Production Processing with other SAP modules like FI, Costing, MM, etc. 5 Strong experience in the use of User Exits, Function Modules, BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, LSMW 3 Demonstrate effectiveness in meeting with users and management to define complex business requirements in sufficient detail to determine the appropriate SAP configuration or development required, or to document why the requirement cannot be satisfied by an SAP-based solution. Good understanding of material and batch classification structure. Ability to work with a process person to develop, document and translate business requirements into conceptual designs. Ability to write functional design specifications for PP module custom programming (more than just configuring for a specific process) 6 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field is required. SAP Business Warehouse experience is a plus but not required Experience in SAP ECC 6.0 version Must Have: Must be able to work in a team environment and have excellent skills in cross-team communication and task completion. Must have demonstrated proficiency in team communication and working as an effective team member. Must have superior analytical skills to think through complex, multidimensional problems. Must have the ability to independently drive issue resolution, develop business knowledge, and relationships and apply technical alternatives while operating in a rapidly changing environment.
